Charlie's

It's my 24th birthday today, and I have a few things to say

I am writing this only to myself.

Given how fast you iterate yourself, we need reminders. Even if I probably sound silly to you from your point of life, this is what I have and you should be proud of what you've achieved since then.

It's snowing super heavily outside, said to be the biggest for dozens of years. Storming, but I am feeling pretty chill.

You've been thinking crazily about what you truly want out of your life. After all, we've already acknowledged life is meaningless other than itself. However we do have a lot to take advantage of and have fun throughout the journey. There are so many ways, just be patient and be brave. If you want to have fun, there are several most important things, health is number one. Can't enjoy anything without health. Keep up going to the gym, don't get too fat, you have the genes so be extremely careful about that. And yeah, keep an open mind, don't hold your opinion against emerging trends. Flow with it. Not sure if you're rich already or not. But we could live either way. Now what you want, is just a house in which you could build LEGO, watch movies and have a dog and a cat. Read some books and have someone to talk to. Possibly a girl or friends. The most important is to learn to enjoy what you already have, not to have more. Good food, company from people and watch the sea and sunshine. A lot of sleep. Play with new technologies. A lot of culture, Travel around the world several times a year. These are not the most expensive ones, but as luxurious as any expensive watch.

I want you to know you do need people's acknowledgement to live on the world, but you don't have to crave it. Just leave it there and stay true to yourself or else you won't be happy anyway.

At this age I might be very ignorant, I used to think that I could conquer the world, but maybe to conquer this idea itself is the clever thing to do.You get big, and you need to pay for the price. At this point I've learnt that I'm not built to be someone like Elon Musk or Bill Gates. I also don't expect my kids to be like them. Although they are super rich, I don't think they are happy. Sometimes it's about being moderately wealthy and happy. It's a fair game with so many ways to succeed. The more you have, the more you have to lose, the more afraid you are to losing everything.

Next year you'd be 25. I hope you have already found an OK job as a corner stone to step into the world. Get a car so we can drive wherever we want, better be a tesla so we don't actually have to drive. Keep up with French cause we want free identity to go to fun places as we are still young. Remember there's just one rule: always invest in yourself.

Happy birthday bro.
